San Diego COVID-19 Community Response Fund Thank you to Mayor Faulconer and the Board of Supervisors for pushing to get our region open expeditiously. This is about providing for their family. They are eager to get back to work or re-open their business in a safe and responsible manner. They are seeing their life savings and hard work disappear before their eyes. These are our friends and our neighbors, and they are struggling to pay their bills and put food on the table. One in every four District 6 residents is not working. There are now 42,336 unemployed residents in the neighborhoods of D6.
